SAMSUNG GALAXY S6 VS APPLE IPHONE 6 PLUS

SAMSUNG GALAXY S6 VS APPLE IPHONE 6 PLUS

Display:

Apple flagship comes with 5.5 inches LED backlit IPS display which has better image quality, Better daylight visibility and high resolution support which is the advanced version of LCD, However Samsung Galaxy S6 comes with 5.1 inches Super AMOLED display which is the advanced version of LED that is known for better Contrast and darker blacks and also better battery life as compared to IPS. There Samsung and Apple stands equal however if we consider Pixel density and resolution Samsung wins with 1440 x 2560 pixels (577 ppi) whereas Apple has 1080 x 1920 pixels (401 ppi).

Display Material:

Samsung brought up the idea of IPHONE 4 (Scratch resistant back glass) by having Corning Gorilla Glass 4 on its back that gives more elegance to the phone and also the front screen glass is Gorilla Glass 4, However Apple has Ion Strengthened glass with Oleophobic coating, Although apparently they are looking different due to their names because Ion-Strengthening is also the process of creating Gorilla Glass, Hence both glasses require hard hit to break.

Certifications:

Samsung supports Finger print sensor and has Samsung pay feature with certification from PayPal, MasterCard and Visa, Whereas Apple also has Finger print sensor and Apple Pay feature with certifications from Visa, MasterCard and AMEX certification.

Thickness:

There is not much difference in thickness between these two devices with Samsung being 6.8 mm and Apple being 7.1 mm.

Platform:

Samsung flagship device is running on latest android version v 5.0 Lollipop which offers more customization as compared to Apple latest IOS version 8, the best example of it is you can make android looking like IOS, However you can't make your Apple phone looking like Android, That much access given by android is the most basic reason people prefer Android.

Memory and Processor:

Samsung is available with 1.5ghz and 2.1ghz Quad Core processor with 3GB of Ram which is far much better for gaming experience, However Apple still compromises with processor with 1.4ghz dual core processor and 1GB of Ram but according to Apple users it is still better in stability and not hanging irrespective of number of Apps installed as compared to android.

Camera:

Samsung takes a big lead with respect to Camera in smartphone series with S6 having 16 mp rear camera with LED flash and 5 mp front camera which is good for selfies however there are many good front cameras available in android market, But I Phone 6 Plus has only 1.2 mp front camera which is not good for better selfie lovers.

Battery:

Apple takes the lead in this ground and eliminated major drawback of purchasing I Phones due to smaller battery back up. Resulting Samsung has 2550 mah battery as compared to giant 2915 mah battery of I Phone 6 Plus.

Concluding:

Concluding we can say that Apple has improved on its lacking's and has maintained its image of better stability as compared to Android devices. On the other hand Samsung has worked on its looks and has announced a master piece which reflects elegance in your hands.

As in the smartphones Apple always leads in the looks and Luxury, again this time it comes with 18kt Gold, Aluminium and Stainless steel and also in rubber bands, However Gear S comes with plastic body, In this case Apple leads with more Customization and Individualization.

COLORS

Once again Apple leads the Colors War because it has more than 5 colors but Gear S has just black and white color.
Apple Wins

Screen Size:

Here Samsung Gear S takes the lead by having 2 inch Super AMOLED Display However Apple Watch comprises maximum of 1.53 inch Retina Display.
Samsung wins

Screen shape:

Samsung wins this race by having Curved display as compare to Rectangular Display of Apple Watch, which is needy of watches because watch should be as comfortable as possible.
 Samsung wins

Water Resistance:

Samsung Gear S comes with IP67 Certification whereas Apple Watch is only Splash Resistance which means only Rain protection but no soaking in water is being allowed by Apple.
 Samsung wins

Always on Display:

Samsung Gear S has the ability to remain on without sleep while Apple watch is going to leave its screen off until you raise your arm.
 Samsung wins

Pressure Sensor:

Unexpectedly Apple introduces pressure sensor in its flagship and Gear S does not support this feature which bring an added advantage to Apple over its competitors.
Apple Wins

Conclusion:

Although every feature of both is not mentioned in this comparison but those necessary for a watch are being mentioned and it up to the buyer, If one like luxuries and to look different he may have option of Apple Watch with Gold plate option but if one considers the functions, the Samsung Gear S takes the lead and would be preferable.
